Galvanize silo manufacturer

Flat bottom silos boast of several features. It is made of galvanized silo S350 GD which boasts high elastic resistance. A galvanize silo also has Z450 minimum coating that equals 450 g/m2 of zinc. Our entire product range of silos is equipped with 8.8 high quality dichromate bolts. These silos also have washers equipped with neoprene ensuring a watertight seal. Our galvanized silos’ exteriors are galvanized reinforced. Irrespective of the thickness, all have galvanized shatter-proof exteriors. This ensures complete protection against corrosion. On silo models that feature a diameter more than 12.22 meters, the roof structure is cross section galvanized.

The silo’s bottom end is in a conical hopper shape and measures either 60 degrees or 45 degrees depending on what kind of grain would be stored inside. The hopper angle of the silo is based the repose angle of the stored grain as well as some other characteristics.

Horizontal Silo manufacturer

Pneucon’s horizontal silos are commonly used for storing cement and other heavy construction materials. Pneucon manufactures these horizontal silos from mild steel plate which are molded in a way that the material is dropped into the horizontally shaped screw conveyor fixed on the lower end of the bin. The material is extracted by the horizontal screw conveyor and transferred to the inclined screw conveyor. Following this, the material is discharged from a height of 4.2 meters. General Specifications

PNEUCON Screw Pumps are constructed of mild and structural steel, and mounted on a base. PS pumps are equipped with pedestal blocks that support a pump screw which helps to provide a smooth, balanced operation. The screw is dynamically balanced and areas of this screw, along with other parts of the pump in direct contact with the material to be conveyed, are made of hardened, wear-resistant material and special hard surfacing where required. The screw is directly coupled to the driving motor but can be v-belt driven.

Standard equipment on PS pumps includes a pressurized seal and bearing assembly that extends the service life of the discharge seals by preventing the material being handled from entering the bearing area. Each pump system includes the pump, drive motor and compressed air source.

Operation

The materials to be conveyed enter the hopper by gravity or dumped by any means. The material is compacted as it is advanced. Its density is further increased in the space between the terminal flight of the screw and the face of the non-return valve to form a seal against the transport line pressure, thus preventing blowback. The material then enters the discharge body, is fluidized by compressed air, and is conveyed into the transport line.
